The parachute pants were designed by Gunnar Deatherage
Hair, Makeup & Styling was provided by myself We went through a progression of lip color changes for each different image. Starting with the nude and ending with the crisp white. The main inspiration was skin that was insanely reflective and full of life.
Commisioned work with The Voice-Tribune for Merkley Kendrick Jewelers. With male grooming, the "less is more" attitude is the most effective. I covered any blemishes with a concealer and did a fine layer of translucent over his entire face to combat any extra shine.

Commissioned Work for NFocus Magazine. This fashion editorial featured styles from local boutique, Work The Metal. When working with Gunnar I am always given certain parameters but always allowed the freedom to play. For this concept is was the color scheme of black red and white. I used the flash palette from MakeUp Forever for the color on her face. When the focus needs to be the wardrobe the makeup should compliment the style instead of overshadowing it.

creative work in Louisville, Ky with photographer, Jacob Roberts and Model, Chelsea Coury. Gunnar Deatherage was the stylist as well as hairstylist.
Chelsea has such great lips and I wanted to pull some attention to them by using a deeper color. Her freckles are also a great feature of hers so I went wit little to no foundation to keep their integrity. A very minimalist look but to me these are a few of my favorite images in my portfolio.
Commissioned work with The Voice of Louisville and their Bridal Edition. For this entire set of photos, the makeup stayed the same so I wanted it to be something that a lot of brides would relate to. Using shades of brown and rose I created a subtle smokey eye that wears well all day.
